The album with PAB is complete, and the first single is due to arrive on October 8th. I have also created the artwork for the release as pictured, and couldn’t be more excited for the release process. Our preview has performed amazingly on Instagram, and has already led to further opportunity’s, which get more exciting by the day. What a beautiful process the creation of this project has been, we only hope the hard work pays off, and what comes next is equally as beautiful. I’m sure my ext entry is going to be largely focussed on the release, so we’ll wrap up this chat here.
Due to other work demands, at my hospitality and retail commitments, it has been a busier period, leading to only 2 record fairs in this period. Luckily I can report they went very well. My partner and my own grandparents have contributed a large portion of there record collection to the business, which has been a wonderful help, and increased the stock levels greatly. My most recent haul might be my finest yet, featuring Johnny Hammond, Lonnie Liston Smith and Lalo Schifrin, all artists I have discovered in my crate digging journey over the years. Its an amazing feeling to be transferring my digital sample collection slowly over to vinyl, this was always the dream, and starting this business is allowing that and many other things I could only have imagined a few years ago to become a reality.
The shop in Stockport is moving down the road, I’m yet to know the new adress, but the potential seems exciting. I will be supplying vinyl and working there for the foreseeable. The discogs has grown amazingly this month, becoming a crucial part of the growth of this business. Hopefully it can keep going strong as I battle my way through the new stock gradually.
Until next time
Jules.
